I have used a few different scoring software packages and of the two games I have done so far, this package is pretty good.
Suggestions -
1. Landscape Printing Option for all stat sheets. You may be able to fit more statistics on the printouts that way.
2. Roster import would be nice - I play the same 10 teams in our league. We are all given rosters for the season, so I would like to load the roster of the team we are playing on any given day. - I realize that we can do this once you have played that opponant, I was thinking more of a flat file or a text(comma) del. format file that I can prepare for prior to the game.
3. Allow to set the game for 6/7/9 innings - Having the option for "fastpitch softball" is not really accurate for American Legion baseball or high School baseball. It is nitpicky, but I hate picking Fastpitch softball for a baseball game.
4. keystroke options for balls/strikes and other functions - I am inputting games from previous weeks, and balls/Strikes would be nice to have a keystroke option.
5. Pie in the sky wish - I would love to have in the box score the indented substitute for a postion shown. For example, if the number 2 batter is substituted, the sub should show just below that batting position, slightly indented, noting the positions.
D Ortiz DH
D Mirabelli PH-C
M Ramirez LF
W Harris LF
6. The Game Summary is a Great Feature and the level of detail is wonderful. How about and option for just the Scoring Summary which only details the innings where runs scored. In a low scoring game, it will keep the paper output to a minimum and only highlights the scoring innings. The box score shows the pitching stats so a quick review would show how well the pitchers did but with a less verbose view and directs you to how the runs were scored in the game. Great for teams that push the game info directly to the newspapers or publish on a website.
Thanks
Jamie
