I am scoring for my son's Little League team, and there is a pitch count rule.
What is the fastest way to get the pitch count for the current pitcher. If I view the Box Score, I have to scroll right, and add up B and S to get the total. I'd hate to make a mistake by not carrying the 1.
Is there any way to get this on the Columns Total area?

The easiest way to get the pitch count for the current pitcher is from the At Bat window. Just point and hold at the "1". The Pitchers Name & Number, number of Balls, Strikes, and Total Pitches will be displayed.

Touch the 'pitcher' button (just above the batter up button). This brings up the defensive lineup with basic pitching stats. The right most column is the pitch count for each pitcher and the total.

Is there a Defensive Lineup page in Windows Mobile version?

No defensive lineup in Pocket PC of PC Editions. For those products you can tap and hold (or right click or shift hover) over the defensive position to see who is in that position. The defensive lineup in the iPhone allows you to touch the fielder and jump to their position in the lineup view. The Pocket PC and PC Editions to not have a separate lineup window. Everything is done in place. So the equivalent feature on the Pocket PC would be to have a button next to the defensive popup (that appears when you tap and hold over the position) that closes the At Bat window and scrolls, switches to the defense's scoresheet, scrolled to the lineup entry with that defensive player.
The iPhone redesign has made me rethink several interface designs. There are no real features available on the iPhone that aren't available on the other platforms, mostly it's just a redesign out of necessity (because of finger touch interface). Some of those necessary changes resulted in a better UI design. We will be able to port some of them back to the PC and Pocket PC.

The defensive lineup feature in iPhone is great for quickly identifying pitch counts and defensive player changes. However, the only pitching stats provided are for the defensive team on the field.
The only method for viewing pitch counts for the team on offense is to touch "more", then "Box Score", then "folded page in the lower right corner (to see options)", then "Home or Visitor", then "pitching", then "folded page in the lower right corner (to dispay stats)", then scroll to the right and add the B + S columns. This quite time consuming when a coach is trying to make pitching decisions for the next defensive inning, and keeping the score up to date at the same time.
I would like to offer a couple of suggestions: - iPhone has the ability to scroll pages by touch-drag. In the defensive lineup, create a second page that would display the offensive team's defensive positions with pitching stats OR - include the offensive team's pitching stats below the defensive pitching stats.
AND - include TP (total pitches) to the Game Pitching Statistics display of the Box Score
Thanks for stiving to make this product better!

Thanks for the suggestions. It's nice to know that people are using these lesser known capabilities. There are lots of opportunities for improvement.

Sorry to login on this older thread but these are great suggestions to improve pitch counts. I use this "advanced feature" all the time. Each inning when we come up to bat coaches want to know the pitch-count status and I've usually have to do this using the box score on the iPod App because I've already pressed batter-up to register the 3rd out and confirm that our see our batting order for the inning.

Good point. Maybe well add the ability to view the opposing team's defense/pitching stats. Thanks.
