I used the iPhone lite version this spring for my son's high school season and was very pleased with the program. I just upgraded to the full version for his summer travel ball season. During high school most games were at night, so readability of the 'At Bat' scoring screens was fine. Now during travel ball, most games are day games, and the screens are very difficult to see during sunny days.
The current screens are aesthetically pleasing with the colored backgrounds, and light outlines with gray labels on the scoring 'buttons' (1B, 2B, SAC, MISC, etc), but are almost unreadable in the sunlight (especially when wearing sunglasses!). The scorecard screens and the popup menus are fine, just the scoring screen is a problem.
I have two suggestions/requests for the scoring screen:
1) change both the button outlines and the button labels to white so there is better contrast with the background (this includes the player position and base 'button' areas on the field layout).
2) if you don't want to give up your current aesthetic color scheme, provide this as an alternate 'high-contrast' color scheme that is selectable from a configuration menu.
Thanks, Roy

We have a high contrast on the Pocket PC version for this very reason. I can look at adding it to the iPhone version.

That would be a greatly appreciated upgrade for the iPhone.
Thanks, Roy
