How do people score a pop-fly foul caught for an out?
FO#, with # being a position number?
I suppose with Force Out being replaced by Fielders Choice, that DOES leave FO as an option...
Thanks,

K-ForCE doesn't distinguish between fly out and fly out in foul territory. It doesn't even care if it's a fly out at all.
A friend of mine scores it as follows: 3 - Fly Out to 1st baseman 3U - Unassisted putout by 1st baseman (not fly out) F3 - Fly Out in Foul territory by 1st baseman
This isn't really what I had in mind (although I knew about people using 3U for unassisted); but this convention will work fine in K-ForCE. Since there are no real stats maintained regarding foul outs, you can score it this way. Or you can just score it as: F3 Foul or F3 F.
If you use my friend's convention, you still have to deal with 'SF' sac fly out in foul territory. You'd probably do this as 'SFF8' or 'SF8 Foul'. Both work in K-ForCE.
My daughter's coach wanted to know when hits were bunts or slaps. K-ForCE's hit location doesn't allow for that. So I score it as '1B 5Bunt' or '1B 6Slap'. And a putout as '5-3 Bunt', '6-3 Slap'.
There are soooo many ways of doing this stuff.
